“Book Fast. Haul Easy.”
HitchOne started the way most good ideas do—out of necessity and a little curiosity. Our founder, Jason Toudt, found himself with a trailer he wasn’t using full-time and figured, “Why not rent it out?” One rental turned into a few, then a dozen more. Along the way, Jason saw what many renters already knew: the trailer rental experience was clunky, overpriced, and often felt like trying to buy a soda but being upsold a vending machine. The “big guys” made things more complicated than they needed to be—and that’s when HitchOne hit the road.
At HitchOne, our mission is simple: change the landscape of consumer-driven trailer rental. We're not here to reinvent the trailer, but we are here to overhaul HOW you rent one. That means ditching the paperwork jungle, replacing phone tag with smooth online bookings, and using tech to keep things moving fast and easy—just like our slogan promises. We’re bringing a smarter, more streamlined rental experience to the local market, one where the trailer is ready when you need it, and the process doesn’t feel like a DMV visit.
Let’s talk value for a second. Unlike the usual suspects (you know who we're not naming), we’re not here to nickel-and-dime you. Need straps or a ramp? Cool—we won’t pretend it costs us a fortune and charge you like it does. We also won’t trap you in confusing rates or try to sell you “premium roadside air freshener coverage.” What we offer is straightforward pricing, helpful accessories included when you need them, and a support experience that doesn’t involve being on hold for 45 minutes listening to polka music.
We’ve read the reviews of the big guys, and yikes—late pickups, broken equipment, overbooking, hidden fees, you name it. That’s why we built HitchOne to be the opposite: dependable trailers, honest pricing, tech-forward booking, and real humans behind the wheel (us). We’re just getting started, but we’re fired up to set a new standard for what trailer rental should be. Check out our booking page to see how easy it is—or shoot us a message if you’ve got questions. We’re fast to reply, friendly by nature, and always happy to talk trailers.
